About me
After having finished the Language grammar school in Varaždin, thanks to my successful participation at state competitions in foreign languages I was given an opportunity to be enrolled in the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb – German and French language and literature.
During my studies I begun to actively translate both written and spoken texts from various professional fields such as economy, tourism and informatics.
Due to a scholarship of the French Government and my stay at the university of Sorbonne in Paris I have become member of the Association of scholarship holders. Today I am the member of the steering committee.
After having aquired the diploma and status of German and French language teacher I have firmly started to gain new knowledge and skills related to communication and PR. Finally, I have a master degree in interdisciplinary European studies from the College of Europe in Warsaw in the subject The EU as a Global Actor. All classes were held in English or French language.
In 2006 I have been nominate court interpreter for German and French language by the County Court's decision in Varaždin N° 4-Su.363/06-4 from November 21st, 2006.
In my carrier as translator I had experience with different types of texts, both literate and scientific.
A part of my knowledge and skills I owe to my work at the attorney at law and court interpreter's office for Germand language as well as to a position of spokesperson, which requires lots of communication know-how.
Should I have succeeded to persuade you of the quality of my knowledge, I am inviting you to refer to me with a concrete request.
Respectfully,
Lana Velimirović Vukalović, prof.
